The bottom lips are rusted pretty bad, the seller had them for the manual guts, since the original doors (that are in much better shape) are power.

I finally got around to gutting them, then I need to clear out some space taken up by these extra doors, the hoods, etc, and maybe start working on finishing the floor and start putting it back together.

Not sure how far out the LS swap’s gonna be. Maybe next year? I need to be in a rush to get it on the road but I’m not, if you know what I mean.

I know the feel. Mine has reached that point where it is drivable but I’m not sure if I trust it enough to reliably drive it. The 400 I’ve got I’m just not happy with. LS or LT swap with fuel injection sounds like a nice way to live. Plus the tires I’ve got on it were already dry cracked and balding when I bought the car three years ago and I don’t want to put new tires on these old 15x7 rims.

Can’t beat the reliability and fuel economy of a good ‘ol LS truck motor.

I’m holding out for a 6.0L, just because I want to have 6.0TA on the car somewhere. I might end up buying a wrecked van or truck so I have the whole enchilada to swap from.

Yeah, I’m hoping to find a wrecked 98-02 Camaro SS so I can get the LS and the manual swap parts from one source. But those late 4th gen cars are asking like 10k in not crashed condition which is insane.
